Sunday 4 February: Dunedin - Otago University and Dunedin Railway Station

From Baldwin Street we headed back into town for a look at some of the university premises and Dunedin's famous railway station.

Platform canopy at Dunedin railway station. They hold fashion parades here and it was here that Sheryl's grandfather, as station master at the time, welcomed the Queen and Prince Philip off the train when they arrived in Dunedin on their Commonwealth Tour of 1953-1954
