Thursday 8 February: Tauranga - Day Trip: Manuka Honey Farm
I hadn't really heard of Manuka honey before this trip. Bees collect nectar from the Manuka bush and this honey has special medicinal and healing properties, proven by extensive testing with the US armed forces.
Needless to say they do a tube of derma cream for eczema treatment for £10, so a purchase was made!
