Wednesday 14 February: Adelaide - A Walk Along the River Torrens

Adelaide is not really a coastal town as such, but it does make something of the river that flows through its heart.

We walked along the river bank past the University of Adelaide and towards Adelaide Zoo on another beautifully warm sunny day ....

Antipodean bird life continues to fascinate

They left the boathouse door open ....

Local wheelers?

Reminders to footpath users on the ground
It's been a long, hot, dry summer down under

Heck! Rabid animals, aggressive pelicans and venomous snakes - exciting wildlife, definitely!

And finally back into town ....

We thought that this undersized mini was part of the flower stall's display, but the gaggle of police round it later and the note they left on the windscreen suggested otherwise!
